where we will “lou sang”
the yee sang with abalone!!!
the food we ordered!~ freaking yummy!!!~ *feel hungry now*
later at night, we came across this small little store selling burgers.
since sis haven’t tried it before, we decided to get it~
see how happy she eats away???
it’s day 4 today!~ and I have no plans… >.<
will update soon!~ ^^
chiao!!!
I have nothing to do except to go to my grandparents house~
friends intended to come for visiting but I wasn’t around…
Gregory wearing stripes!!! HORIZONTAL STRIPES!!!
but it looks kinda ok you know…
family members who come for a visit to my house~
and since I am so busy eating, I hardly took any photos…
pardon me for that~~
so,that’s all for the day~
sorry for not updating last night cause I am drop dead tired from outings and the disturbed sleep the other day~
SO~~~
HAPPY MOO MOO YEAR!!!
*sorry, I am a little self obsessed~~~ XDXD*
the first thing I do on a CNY day would be to greet my parents WITH TEA~~
well, that’s my family tradition at least…
me preparing and taking a picture of the tea pot!~
after that, we went to grandma’s place to meet up with the uncles and aunties and also the cousins~
top: uncles and aunties
bottom: cousins~
family photo with grandma and grandpa
my family picture~
with my cute lil cousin *pinch cheeks*
owh, and did I mention, it’s my mum and dad’s wedding anniversary too!~
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
and I shall again end this post with another self obsess picture of me~
WUAHAHAAAAAA!!!!
it’s the day!
DEE DAY!!!
the day everyone of the family members get together to usher the new year!
during reunion dinner, the thing besides gathering, is of coz, non other than, THE FOOD!!!
we do things a little bit differently this year because mum can’t really work for long.
so, instead of cooking many many different dishes to go with rice (which is what we usually do) we had steamboat this year!
these are the may types of mushrooms we are having! (it’s like a mushroom meal if you ask me…)
another thing! the best of the best!
is non other than our shark fin soup!!! this one’s yummylicious!
well, Grandma and I have to venture into the forest back lane to get some pandan for deserts~~~ @____@ (it’s scary if you ask someone who’s scared of snakes)
this is grandma chopping up the chicken~
and today, there is another baby born!
a NEW SWATCH WATCH!!! given by my aunt~ ^^
so damn freaking happy!~ WUAHAAHAHAAA!!!!
counting down to tomorrow!!! CNY CNY CNY CNY!!!!
the last picture of me in the year of the rat!
leng zai gregorule!!!
and I did not lose my mind yet (because the traffic condition was rather good seeing that I is a festive season)
since I leave KL as early as 650 in the AM, I have chance to take some nice shots on the high way…
here are some photos I took along the way back to Malacca~
when the sun is just starting to rise~
and it got alittlebit higher…
and higher (I have to squint my eyes by now)
and the highest! (highest I have took, and my eyes are practically closed by then)
notice I used the word “nice shots” up there? *points up*
those pictures are taken with my camera phone (yes, I get it…)
those are what I felt as the most artistic shot I have taken in my entire life!
HONEST!!!
well, you have to start somewhere right? (winks at the person who told me that)
will update on CNY in days to come! stay tuned!
my bag are packed and I am ready to go home! since I am following my cousin back to Malacca tomorrow and that she will be leaving early in the AM, I will have to spend the night at her place and leave for Malacca together…
I met up with her at Taman Jays LRT, and we decided to have Yong Tau Foo at PJ Old Town beside the market which is a place called the medan selera?? (ok, I am confused myself, but I have been there a few times) XD
honestly, this is by far the best yong tau foo I have eaten in KL!
they sell freshly made yong tau foo and it is delicious!!!
when I say fresh, I mean they will only make it when you order, so you will have to prepare to wait for a while after you order your food!
this is also by far, the most special cinchao drink I have had! (they use shave ice and syrup instead of those molten sugar.
here are the things we ordered!~
fried chicken~ this fried chicken tasted rather homely, unlike those in KFC or McD.
and since they only fry it when you want to eat, so it’s god damn yummy!
now, lets move to the yong tau foo
for soup base yong tau foo, we had lady’s finger, chili, bitter gourd and non other than white tofu!
the fish filling tasted sweet and pack, very nice if you ask me.
for fried yong tau foo, we had egg plant, fu chuk, and fried shui gao.
egg plant yong tau foo is a must have whenever I eat yong tau foo, it’s my favorite and I would say this tasted nice!
the fried dumplings are special in the sense that they have crunchy vegetables like carrot init that makes it crispy in the inside too!
the fu chuk how ever is still the best! it is SO CRISPY CAN DIE!!! (warning for those people who have phobia with oil, THIS is OILY!!!) but nice!~ XD
this is so yummylicious even my pets line up wanting to eat the yong tau foo!
greg signing off!
CNY is just around the corner and yesterday was considered our last class before CNY since there are no classes today…
so, we decided to have a small celebration party to welcome Chinese New Year and look for time to chill out and hang out together!
after class, Liang and I went straight to Jusco to get some liquor~
the main character!
(we used sake glass LOL)
me and Peak Mun!
we had roasted chicken, ham, and many many other tid bits to go along with our drinks!~
YUM SENG!!!
some face get so red cannot tahan!!! LOL (her face was even redder than her pink clothes!)
Ashley and RQ
Elle and I
the party ends around 1pm when most of the people went home leaving a few of us.
after 3am, everyone went home leaving 4 of us at home, RQ, Liang and I chatted till about 530 before our battery run out!
it has been a while since I chatted with Liang since I am so occupied with my activities stuffs going on and around me…
so we finally catch up with each other last night and I was rather glad we did so, else god knows when we will have the time to chat like there’s no tomorrow again!
my to do list on my CNY holiday:
- look up on ethnocentrism and cultural relativism for my assignment. (trust me, it’s alot to read)
- get all details ready for health screening (my upcoming activity in UTAR by First Aid Society) and hand up proposal.
- Lab report for Micro Biology (Min-Zhin will laugh at me cause I say I’d finish it on the very day)
p/s: my dear course mates, pls remind me what have I missed out?
I am so hyper today because I am going back to Malacca tomorrow!!! I will be spending the night at my cousin’s place and we’ll be leaving early morning tomorrow!
can’t wait to go home!!!
it’s not that UTAR is not good, but some lectures really need to polish on their presentations skills…
I am not doubting the lecturer’s wisdom and knowledge, but seriously, can’t the speak better?
there’s this particular lecturer who adds “s” and “K” any chance he can find!!
example: :
no = noS = NOSE <—that’s what we will be listening
*ends the sentence with the word chromosome and ads a “K” at the back.
and we will listen it as “chromosome K”
and some students will start flipping their notes searching for chromosome K…
so we are so “pek cek” listening to his lecture and we started counting the numbers of “K” he said in 10 minutes…
the result? he used 12 “K”s in 1 minute on average!!!
maybe we can use the Chi Square test to test for the accuracy of our observation…
I think a company will earn quite alot of the produce the KNS (K and S) canceling machine…
gotta go prepare for class now~ chiao!
CNY is just a stone’s throw roll away and we figured it’s time to overhaul our house abit!
the whole house are so much cleaner than before!!
and my table finally seen the light!~
it’s usually worse than this!~
so, later after than we celebrated CNY before everyone leaves home~
more pictures of the celebration coming soon!~
stay tuned!~
like what the title said, 4 LONG HOUR WAIT!!!
class ends today at 1pm, but due to the post mortem meeting we have to attend at 5pm, I have to stay back and goyang for 4 solid hours!!!
@_______@
HOW CAN?!?!?! (well, I took some notes to revise)
so, what I (we, because there are another 3 person who’s waiting together with me) did in the 4 hours?
pose for the camera man…
act hardworking when the camera man say “cheese!!!”
for the camera man, take picture of himself… >.<
(thank god I get to borrow ear phone from Jynn, else I can foresee time would pass even slowly than expected~
I DESPERATELY, DYINGLY NEED a portable music player!!!!
I so Need it can die!!!
which should I get?
(cheaplak from Low Yat Plaza doesn’t seem promising to me…)
what university students eat the most?
MAGGIE MEE LAA…
my friends and I went to the market this early morning becasue we missed the fried noodle there…
so we ended up planning to get some yong tou foo and fish balls to cook maggie at home to eat for lunch!~
lao lao cooking maggie~
cooking in progress~
and the product…
since we have no proper table… this is how we eat at home…
this is university life kay!!! XDXD
