him : owhh.... like the CSI one lah??

me  : yea... *grins*

him : I think you watch too much CSI edi lah...

me  : (murmurs) wtf...

case 2:

cousins talking talking and talking:

him : so, what are you good at? Bio, Chem, or Physics?

sis  : my Physics better... bro also...

him : eh den how come you go and take biotech? why not do engineering?

sis  : cause he wanted to be a forensics scientist mar...

him : owhh, but hard job lor...

sis  : he watch too much CSI edi lar....

me  : *slaps her left and right*

wtf wtf wtf WTF!!!!

how often do you people see me watching CSI?

infect I haven't been watching CSI for a freaking long time already!!!

my ambition of wanting to be a forensic scientist is no doubt started when I watch CSI, it always fascinates me how can since be applied in order to help solve a crime and also prove the innocence of a person.

no doubt I enjoy watching that show, it is somewhat the source of information I can get as in entertainment form. things as simple as what is the difference of straight hair and curly hair under the microscope? or to something complicated like what can blood splatter tell you?

I can forgive all the uncle and aunties who say that but,

the worst part is even MY sister says that too!!! wtf wtf...

of course I know what to expect if I every became a forensic scientist! long working hour, examine evidence, maybe not so good pay, etc. etc. etc.

but why of ALL reasons, most of the people out there can only relate my ambition with CSI, I personally think that they are the one who are watching too much CSI!!!!

and of course, I follow my ambitions with sense, since I am taking biotech now, I can enter the forensic field (which I hope with ease) and if this fails I can still do biotech!!

or the other way round, I can go into the biotech industry first and then get into forensics when the time is right.

I seriously BEH TAHAN with this kind of people...

you all watch too much CSI lah!!!

ohh, and FYI, forensic scientist are very well paid in other countries which if wanna be a forensic scientist, I wont be working in Malaysia as well...
